Letter from the MECA Therapies’ Hobbs Director

Dear Lea County,

It has been the pleasure of MECA Therapies, LLC to provide early intervention services for children and their families in Lea County for the past five years. It is our goal at MECA Therapies to help children grow and develop to their fullest potential.

We have a highly qualified staff that strive to build relationships with families to set and meet goals that are most important to the family. We are currently able to offer service coordination, speech therapy, help with feeding and swallowing difficulties, physical therapy, occupational therapy, family therapy and developmental instruction. These services are provided to infants and toddlers ages birth to three years old and their families in all five communities and outlying areas in Lea County. We are excited to have a new facility to call our home located in Hobbs at 2424 N. Lovington Highway. You are invited to stop by our new location and visit with our staff at any time.

Our staff has come from all over the Untied States and the world to live and work, many have chosen to make Lea County their permanent home. We have enjoyed meeting and being a part of the lives of the families we have had the privilege of serving. MECA Therapies is looking forward to our future in Lea County and is excited to expand our services to include outpatient services for children ages three (3) to 21 in early 2018.

Thank you Lea County,
Libbie Plant
