Families Like Us Publishes First Edition
This month Families Like Us published our first edition focusing on premature birth; this ties in with our mission at hand, which is to inform our region about child development topics, issues, and occurrences.
In this edition, Families Like Us is focusing on the March of Dimes’s goal to reduce premature birth across the country. This is important to discuss because premature birth is linked to various types of developmental delays among children.
The feature story of this edition focuses on a major report card the March of Dimes released. The report card focuses on premature birth rates on a national level and dials it down to the local level.
Families Like Us will focus on organizations such as the March of Dimes in future publications.
